Hobbes, Leviathan excerpts

According to Hobbes there are two types of authors. The first being the type that owns the actions of another other than themselves is called fidejussores. The second which owns the action of another in a conditional matter which is called sponsores.

The only things that can't be duplicated fictitiously are things such as the church, hospital, a bridge. However they can be managed by the overseers or those that are in charge. In essence, similar to those things that can not be duplicated, human beings need similar forms of guidance because they are unable to manage themselves.

A true God can not be personated, but gods and figments of the imagination can be personated because they are created within in ones mind. They are created to hold certain levels of power or importance in which men placed upon them.
